Night Cycling

Thank goodness i am able to complete the nite cycling ytd!! The fact tat I have only learnt how to cycle last week makes this more amazing lol. The cycling route itself is ok, but alot of upslopes and downslopes. The feeling of wind gushing down on ur body is really enjoyable haha! I really wanna thx darryl and yong sheng and gavin for accompanying me behind, cox i not used to travelling at super high speed. Most of the time I will be lagging behind while the 3 of them pushes me onwards.

We cycled from around 1am till 730am. Tengah airbase to home team academy, to Gombak airbase, to Nee Soon camp, to Paya Lebar Airbase and finally to East Coast park to return our bikes. At each camp, we pray for it and the cg, praying tat God will work thru them greatly in thier respective camps.

By the time we reach the ending point, i was so tired tat i dun really feel like going home, but just sleep at east coast park LOL. My whole legs feel like jelly, cant even walk straight la! HAha but it is really a experience i will never forget! I will post more photos after i get them =)

And happy belated birthday timothy! Hope u like the present i gave u! haha

12
"Even now," declares the LORD,
"return to me with all your heart,
with fasting and weeping and mourning."

13 Rend your heart
and not your garments.
Return to the LORD your God,
for he is gracious and compassionate,
slow to anger and abounding in love,
and he relents from sending calamity.

14 Who knows? He may turn and have pity
and leave behind a blessing—
grain offerings and drink offerings
for the LORD your God.

15 Blow the trumpet in Zion,
declare a holy fast,
call a sacred assembly.

16 Gather the people,
consecrate the assembly;
bring together the elders,
gather the children,
those nursing at the breast.
Let the bridegroom leave his room
and the bride her chamber.

17 Let the priests, who minister before the LORD,
weep between the temple porch and the altar.
Let them say, "Spare your people, O LORD.
Do not make your inheritance an object of scorn,
a byword among the nations.
Why should they say among the peoples,
'Where is their God?' "

God really spoke to me this week in this verse Joel 2:12-17, to repent and to submit to Him. I admit tat there are some areas of my life not live biblically and can be a stumbling block to ppl. This verse is like shouting at me telling me to repent now not later. Pastor Michael gave a good analogy today: He was asking 2 person to use a bat to beat him. A said tat he cannot do it because he is afraid of going to jail. However B said tat he cannot do it, because he love him. Its the 2 different mindset but ultimately thier actions are righteous. Its like repentance, would u repent because u love Jesus and Love His ppl? Or would u repent because u scared of the consequences? Either motivation is good but let Love be ur motivation instead of fear!
